Description

The Northeastern Wisconsin (NEW) Audubon Society was initially established in 1954 as a small birding club in the Green Bay area. In 1963, the club connected with the National Audubon Society. We are now one of more than 500 local chapters in the National Audubon Society, including 14 chapters in Wisconsin. Our members live in seven counties and 55 communities throughout northeast Wisconsin. Since its beginning, NEW Audubon has been very active locally in environmental issues, conservation, scientific investigations, habitat preservation, and environmental education.
