Description

The Baird Creek Preservation Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to facilitate the preservation and restoration of the Baird Creek Watershed in order to enhance its value as an ecological, recreational, and educational resource for generations to come. Our long-term focus is to create a quality natural Greenway that can be used and enjoyed by everyone. We envision more and improved hiking, biking and ski trails throughout the Greenway, a connection to the Wisconsin Ice Age Trail, providing trail access to Door and Kewaunee Counties, the opportunity to explore connections to local nature trails such a Mahon Creek, Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary and Cofrin Arboretum, as well as purchasing and protecting additional Greenway or Baird Creek Watershed acreage.
