Artists of all ages are invited to create original bookmark designs for the
Library’s 2026 Bookmark Design Contest.
CONTEST RULES:
Designs must be original and related to books, libraries or reading. Copyrighted characters (such as Batman™) or AI generated artwork will not be considered.
Any art medium may be used (paint, crayon, markers, colored pencil, computer, etc. Note: digital art should be 300 dpi).
One entry per participant.
Participants must reside in Brown County.
Entries may be dropped off at any Brown County Library location by closing on Saturday, April 25, 2026. Digital entries should be emailed to bc_library@browncountywi.gov. Originals of digital submissions may be requested.
Winners and runners-up will be personally notified on or before May 15, 2026. Winners will be publicly announced with a ceremony at our Summer Reading Kickoff Party at the Central Library on Saturday, June 6, 2026.
One winner will be selected in each category: grades K–5; grades 6 – 12, and adult.
Winners in each category will receive 25 copies of their printed bookmarks to share with family and friends.
Winning designs will be printed as bookmarks that will be distributed at all Brown County Library locations during our 2026 Summer Reading Program for all ages. Winning designs and runners up will be posted on browncountylibrary.org and on Brown County Library social media pages.
