Even though our library buildings are closed, there are many opportunities to enjoy reading and enrichment activities from home. Here, our Youth Services Librarians share some of their favorite online resources. (Updated 4/14/2020)


Story Time! from Penguin Kids | Via Instagram every day at 10 am (CST)
Authors and illustrators published by Penguin Kids will read their stories every weekday.

Storytime from Space
Astronauts read stories from the International Space Station. A great video collection featuring books like Ada Twist, Scientist and Max Visits to Mars. Plus, fun videos highlighting science experiments.

Storyline Online
Hundreds of children’s books read by some of the greatest actors of our time, including Viola Davis, Chris Pine, Lily Tomlin, Rami Malek, and James Earl Jones.
